TODAY’S QUOTE FROM A CHILDREN’S BOOK THAT SEEMS MILDLY INAPPROPRIATE

Book: Bambi a Little Golden Book edition, page 15
“Later, as Bambi and his mother lay safely in their thicket, mother explained. “MAN. Bambi – it was MAN in the meadow. He brings danger and death to the forest with his long stick that roars and spurts flames. Someday you will understand.”

Side note: not really helped out by the next paragraph: “When he looked out through the thicket he saw everything covered with white.”

  1. Disney should be avoided. Some person/animal always dies...ALWAYS. Its gut wrenching and not healthy.

The heck with the dying animal thing. Let's stick with the blue stuff.

And after he read a notice on Craig's List (casual encounters), Bambi went to visit the MAN. He was instructed to knock thrice, enter the MAN's home, make toilet, not flush, not talk, and then leave. Under the welcome mat fifty dollars awaited him.
