Another Reason to Love Charles Barkley

His graciousness after getting beat in a big upset in his final college game, against the University of Richmond:
Barkley was the first person to shake Tarrant’s hand after the game. Tarrant said Barkley complimented him for the way the Spiders played, and how Tarrant directed them.
After Barkley scored 23 with 17 rebounds in the upset that was his final college game, Barkley asked Richmond coach Dick Tarrant for permission to enter the Spiders’ dressing quarters in Charlotte, N.C., to offer congratulations.
