Hands Across America

So Gregg has withdrawn as Commerce nominee. Shocker. On one hand, I guess that's what happens when you pick people who are completely against your own agenda and policies to run a department they once tried to get rid of. On the other hand, I look forward to him running back to his fellow Republicans and working them up into a frenzy re: he's seen the inside of Obama's White House, where they spend most of their days burning flags with aborted babies. Which, on the other hand, as I talked about in the same link above, is about the only thing the Republicans can do right now, is to go so hard through the wall of crazy they somehow land on something they can win with a la "that's just crazy enough to work!!" On the other hand, as the UG suggests the only way for the Democrats can give life to such nonsense is to act like nervous, dithering pussies...which of course the Democrats invented. On the other hand, haven't we learned through dealing with terrorists that it's how you react to the terrorist, not how the terrorist acts that allows yourself and not the terrorist to claim victory? No, I'm not comparing the GOP to terrorists; only in how each of their "victims" reacts to such aggression. On one hand, didn't Emerson once say "No one can cheat you out of ultimate success but yourself" - as a matter of fact, after he said it, didn't he write it down?

In other words let's hope Obama keeps the Dems cool, as I know they're prolly already desperately trying to give every nook of power back to the Republicans as we speak, terrified Rush Limbergercheese might say something mean about them on his radio show.
