Two of Us

Interesting article HERE on usefulness of having a partner in one's art's work. Lennon had McCartney, Kerouac had his editor. One relationship not mentioned is the Larry David/Jerry Seinfeld one, which I see as huge these days. On one hand, it's much more pleasing to do the work without the endless dance with other people during the creative process, but I also know that no man's an island, nobody TRULY succeeds without help. I think it's true, I think I'd like to find my Seinfeld to my own David, but I just haven't. Of course, maybe part of why I haven't is because I'm a dickhead, but hey, it's cool to be a dickhead now!!!!! :)
