to get our heads out of our asses and really commit to an economy-changing, job-creating industry shift away from the car and towards public transportation such as high-speed rail: the next generation couldn't give less of a shit about cars.
I suppose that's really the genius of capitalism - wars for oil and the fact that cars are helping to kill the planet aren't enough to change anything, but when Jimmy Dipshit stops buying cars, that's when it happens. It would just be nice to get ahead of the game once the play is so obvious. Ah well.
