Ever since the relegated Big Joe to being a drooling mess in a wheelchair, Barry Pepper as RFK has completely stolen the show. Which makes sense, since Bobby was always more interesting than Jack, who, while admirable for being willing to destroy his presidency in the name of some sweet, sweet, poonstuffs, was basically a cold, political animal. Kinnear I think played him fine enough, although his best attribute might be not trying to go overboard with the Kennedy accent.
I'm still waiting to watch the final episode, which will presumably deal with Bobby's post-Dallas grief, which should be great, as his going from good/evil black/white Bobby to an introspective, questioning Bobby was the best part of
Evan Thomas' book (in my opinion) (obviously.)
