Fare Thee Well, Nurse Gladys Emmanuel

82 is a nice long life, but this is truly sad for Britcom fans...in particular, I discovered the great Open All Hours a few months before following David Jason to Only Fools and Horses. Open All Hours was THE classic pantheon Britcom that opened the door to so many other streaming Britcoms for me, and I was pleased when Nurse Gladys popped up in the much-long-after sequel Still Open All Hours. She always played perfectly off of Ronnie Barker's horn-dog Arkwright in the original.
