Why don’t people use waffles for buns? I don’t mean those big fluffy Belgian numbers, I mean crispy-on-the-outside frozen ones. Has nobody ever tried this? Seems like it would be as tasty as anything else. Will try a waffle cheeseburger and let you know.

sweet, naive opie.....a waffle is filling and crispy and large. the wee mcgriddle is a flaccid coin of dough laced with maple syrup. no thanks.
