Mes Mains

I've always hated my hands. Oh, knowing they're big and could prolly strangle a bear is cool, but even back when i was skinny (1924 was the year) they were always disproportionately beefy. Not long and lanky, short and beefy. Perfect usage of "mitts" for hands. The paw seems bigger than the fingers. Ugh. When are they coming up with cosmetic surgery so they can look like Tom Verlaine's hands?

ps - note rounded pinky. sprained it on the day of my last ever Little League game. 4 for 5, gw rbi. never healed.

bearing your soul is one thing, Xmastime, and bearing your ass is another. But putting your left hand out here for the world to scrutinize was a very vulnerable move.

that said, the bluish tint of your nailbeds and brittle condition of the nails is cause for concern.

If you have a vitamin or mineral deficiency, it can show up as dry, cracked, brittle, and irregularly shaped nails. Here’s some important information that will help you maintain your fingernail health and remedy dry, brittle nails:

- A deficiency in B-complex vitamins, especially biotin, will produce ridges along the nail bed.

- A diet lacking in calcium contributes to dry, brittle nails.

- A lack of folic acid and vitamin C can lead to hangnails.

- Insufficient dietary essential oils, like omega-3, cause cracking.
