Perfect Storm?

A coupla hours ago for some reason I started thinking to myself you know, I hope we don't go crazy with the Obama/Lincoln comparisons, myself included. Too easy to go crazy with that stuff, romanticize Obama by linking him to Lincoln as much as possible etc etc. And then all of a sudden just now I read Frederick Douglass' speech at the Lincoln Memorial dedication, and this line jumped out at me:
"...infinite wisdom has seldom sent any man into the world better fitted for his mission than Abraham Lincoln."

Wow, I thought. Doesn't it seem like Obama's skill set (as I see them) are the perfect tools for what we need to fix the country right now? Dang. How bout that?
