Palin Interview

It's tough to get too worked up about Palin's interviews, one way or the other. Sometimes she looked like an idiot, sometimes she didn't; who cares. It's still hard for me to take this at all very seriously; I said it two weeks ago and I say it now. Before too long this collective, national jerk-off session we're having because we get to look at a hot chick on tv instead of Mitt Romney will wind down, and at the end of the day we will be left looking solely at John McCain. And then the GOP will remember "oh, yeah...we don't like this guy either."

If I was you, instead of parsing every response of her interview, I'd be pissed off about THIS.
They want the Fed to guarantee a part of Lehman’s troubled assets, these people said, similar to the way it backstopped the emergency sale of another foundering bank, Bear Stearns, in March.
Capitalists when the money's rolling in, socialists when shit goes tits up. When it's banks and corporations at risk, they sure don't mind sticking their fat paws out for a handout, do they? Brilliant!

UPDATE: For instance, I thought McCain looked more battered at his appearance on The View than she did at her chatty chat. Why isn't that more interesting to us?
