Why do women have two breasts? Wouldn't a single bigger breast theoretically be able to do the same job of nursing? I understand the symmetry of two is more aesthetically pleasing, but does evolution work on aesthetics? Hmm.

Women have two breasts for the same reason you have two eyes, two ears, two hands, two feet, and two penises. Wait, what?
but all those serve a purpose...two eyes for depth percetion, two arms for working, two legs for balance/walking etc. and yes, I have two penises!! :)
