You know, one thing that bugs me is when the Right refers to raising taxes as somehow automatically being against "the people." Maybe sometimes they are, maybe sometimes they're not - but certainly taxes aren't automatically evil, are they? In other words, let's do it their way - let's have ZERO TAXES for an entire year, and see what state the country is in at the end of things.
Of course, given the way things have gone the last few years, maybe people are simply tired of getting NO return for their investment (taxes.)
