I just bought this book out on the street. The building of the subways has always baffled me; I often wonder how in the hell we could build the shit TODAY with all our modern technology, much less 100 years ago. Like losing my virginity, I'm looking forward to it.

When I first saw that title I thought it read: 722 MILFS: The Building of the Subways and How They Transformed New York. I had a similar reaction to yours. I didn't realize MILFs were around 100 years ago nevermind that they had a hand in building the subways.
