Today

Whether he wins or not, John McCain will have 40-50 million people vote for him today. Even lopping off millionaires and Exxon executives, that’s tens of millions of people who, after 8 years, will decide “More of the same? Maybe even worse? Yeah, sure, fine by me.” Which astounds me. If this happens, history will write of this period as a country in a hole, and choosing to dig even deeper.

I’m not pulling a “I’m moving to Canada!!!” thing here. But after ‘04 and a McCain win today, I would grant Canadians the right to say “boy, what a bunch of idiots, eh?”

I think you're forgetting the "not-gonna vote for a black guy" bloc. Them fuckers are far more populous than one would like to think. Go read the shit on Craigslist. Makes you want to go take a dump on the porch at Cracker Barrel.

“More of the same? Maybe even worse? Yeah, sure, fine by me.” I think the same thing when I shudder at the thought of the Dems already running Congress and now whipping into a wacko liberal frenzy by their "partisan's partisan" cult leader as President. We are in trouble.
