Makes No Sense at All, Chapter 43,229

This has always driven me crazy too. I can pick up the phone and have an 18 year-old Asian “student” delivered to my door within an hour. Yet if a Senator, of which there are only 100 and therin is a pretty big deal, breaks down in the local Roy Rogers parking lot and can’t make it to the Senate, he cannot pick up a phone and call in his vote. Thereby letting the votes of millions of people from a particular state rendered meaningless because of some antiquated rule that makes no sense. While his being able to call in his vote is not as important as my being able to call up and order some Asian Delight to ME, I would think it might make more sense for the country, n-est pas?
