My first impulse here is to agree with Obama, just let it go, we got too much shit to worry about without more political theater. Plus, I have no faith in anything actually happening anyway - Democrats don't have the guts to ask Republicans to stop parking in their handicapped spaces; the first time Rush Limbergercheese says something mean about them on the radio they'll go scurrying back into their mouse holes.
But we do have to recognize that this pretty much leaves the door open for the next guy to do the same things, knowing we won't do anything about it. I wouldn't wanna use the word "accomplice," but we're gonna hafta be okay with acknowledging that we all just kinda stood around and let it happen.
