On Tuesday, (Texas) State Rep. Betty Brown (R) caused a firestorm during House testimony on voter identification legislation when she said that Asian-Americans should change their names because they’re too hard to pronounce.
Really? Are there that many Chinese people in Texas, that it's become a problem taking time out of your day saying their names? I would think if there's one state with a low Chinese population it would be Texas - a place inhabited by people born into it, or Mexicans without a lot of stamina.
