i generally agree, although i always thought "two divided by love" was a shark-jumper. sounds kinda forced...
also, because i'm thinking about it, i'd like to press my case that "along comes mary" by the association is one of the greatest songs ever recorded. go listen to it again now. i've made this point for a number of years...now i'm making it here today. maybe i'll make it tomorrow too.

true, fake band. pretty much invented by a producer who had to later recruit a band. but "midnight confessions" is one of my favorite songs.
i dont think ive ever heard a Grass Roots song i didnt like
