Harold Ford

Sometimes a politician votes on something in a way that makes sense at the time, and later events cause him to regret said vote, at which time he will use every tactic possible to convince people he meant to vote otherwise, or that they were given false info etc etc etc.

Then there's Harold Ford. Who waits until torture has become an issue that the majority of Americans are horrified with, an ILLEGAL act that looks worse and worse with every memo coming out with each day, with lawsuits lining up to let heads roll to jump on tv and say "hey, I would've voted for that!" What? Is he the WORST POLITICIAN EVER? Why not go all the way and say "I prolly would've voted to keep slavery around...and been the 20th hijacker if the guys had let me in on it."

For fuck's sake.
