Marley #2 Reply

Dearest Marley (Marls Barkley?):

Oh Marley, sweet Marley...you walked right into my little web with this one. Or perhaps you did not see my post re: Pelosi HERE. KNOW YOUR XMAS HISTORY!!! ;)

I have no blind loyalty to Pelosi; as I said in the post, my favor lies with "more with being part of a country that does not sanction illegal torture than with the Speaker of the House merely cause she’s a Democrat." If she's a rat, she's a rat and I have no interest in saving her (kinda hot, actually) ass to hide the truth.

And the ugly truth about torture is that it came from THE TOP. Like Col. Jessup ordering the Code Red, this was not the work of rogue idiots bored between base volleyball games. The Right thinking that we will cave just to save Pelosi's (kinda fine, I think sometimes...no? maybe?) ass is more indicative of their own belief in themselves as a cult than anything on the Democratic side. And yeah, if we hafta play nice with some of the middlemen to get to Hitler (your word, not mine...hey, he ruined that 'stache for everyone else, didn't he? is...is this thing on? hello?) then that's the way the shit goes. Like giving leniency to a crack addict to get to the kingpin. Your "cowardly and soulless" line holds no water here and is the OPPOSITE of what I believe in and you know it - even if you are Increase to my own Cotton, your lawyering tricks of transference do not work avec moi, kind sir!!! Which is even better for me, since neither one of these men were lawyers ;)

Of course, you might say that Guiliani cleaned up the streets with the squeegee guys first, and you'd be right. But I doubt you're gonna come out and think even for a minute that throwing Lydie England, or whatever her name was, to the wolves was a good start. Tho on a side note, Guiliani is on my all-time SNL Team, along with The Rock, Timberlake and Alec Baldwin.

As for Obama you're right; right now he seems a bit wishy-washy. I have faith that he knows what he's doing, tho I can't say it really has much more than knowing that he knows better than to put ketchup on his cheeseburger (but that goes a long way with me.)

That said, you nailed the West Wing line. And there is no arguing that. Period. Dying! :)
