A Modest Proposal

If newspapers are gonna keep crying about going out of business cause of the internet, why don't they follow the internet model and give out their papers for free? I'm sure they make whatever money they do off of advertising anyway - why not try a last-ditch "fuck it, take it but please look at our Nike ads" effort? If it works, good for them. If not, they're going in the shitter anyways. Do I hafta save the newspaper industry too? Fucking christ.
