Palin/Letterman

The Palin/Letterman "feud" continues, I guess. I like this line:
"No wonder young girls especially have such low self-esteem in America when we think it's funny for a so-called comedian to get away with such a remark as he did," she said. "I don't think that's acceptable."

I can't believe that teenage girls across the land would have their self-esteem as women crushed by a 62 year-old man as opposed to, say, an actual woman who constantly puts herself in a position to look like a fool by saying as many dumb things as possible. But hey, I'm not a girl, what do I know.

Also I hope that for once Letterman does the unthinkable in today's faux-apology celebrity world and says "You know what, I don't give a shit. I'm an old man, I'm a kabillionaire, fire me if you wanna but I ain't apologizing for shit."

i think girls develop low self esteem when their own fathers give them little or the wrong kind of attention.

And as far as a 62 year old men are concerned, I thought Letterman was way older than that. geez.
