T.O.

Being an idiot (shocker.)

I’ve noticed that whenever a player ditches a team to go somewhere else, “this is a business, I gotta feed my family.” But if things go differently, the player is offended that an owner “broke his word of trust.” Therein breaking that sanctified relationship between player and guy who bought player’s services to make money selling jersies and beer cozies.

It's not cool if a player says, "I'm staying" and then ditches and says "This is business".

And it's also not cool if an owner says, "You're staying" and then says "You're cut".
