Yankees/Sox

As a Yankees fan, I'm supposed to be out on a ledge ready to jump cause we're 0-6 against the Sox this year. And while of course I wanna beat the gotdam chowderheads, I could really care less as long as we're beating EVERYBODY ELSE as we have been. While against the Sox we're winning at a .000 clip, against the rest of the league we're at .654 and the Sox against the rest of the league are at .538

We're 34-18 against everybody else, the Red Sox are only 28-24 against everyone else. So yeah while they may be "in our heads" et al, the fact is that if the season played out with those percentages against everyone else, and we went 0-19 against the Red Sox, the standings would look like this:

Red Sox 96-66
Yankees 94-68

Which first of all, would prolly get us into the playoffs...AFTER HAVING GONE 0-19 AGAINST THE RED SOX!! But it also means that even if we go an unthinkable 2-17 against them, we win the division. And once the playoffs start, none of that shit matters. So.
