Upon Marley's suggestion I picked up Nixonland (thanks Op!) And now I worry that I'm about to waste 900 pages of reading only to reach the very conclusion I did just now while skimming through the book as I was pissing: shit's the EXACT same today as it was 40 years ago, and will be 40 years from now. (flush)
