The Homeless Grift

Sometimes I give money if a homeless guy shuffles up to me. Sometimes I don't. Sometimes I only do give money because someone near me has given money, so I'm kinda shamed into doing it. Which makes me wonder why homeless dudes don't travel in duos, or small groups - one guy as the homeless dude, and another set up as a random guy who gives money to the homeless guy, therein shaming other people around him to give. Seems genius, no? I mean for fuck's sake; I hafta come up with the ideas for the homeless, too???!!?!!!
