Just a minute ago I had a knife in my hand, and I needed to free up both hands to grab something so I stuck the knife into my mouth, just barely enough to grip with my teeth. As I was fumbling to open a bag I said to myself "gee, you don't really need to go very deep to start the gag reflex."
DAMMIT!! I spent the next five minutes wishing someone else had said that in my presence, so I could then lay out the well-placed zinger "hey, that's what your girlfriend says!"
Sigh. Opportunity blown. :(
