Michael Steele

Michael Steele has headed the RNC for going on nine months now. And rarely have too many days gone by where he hasn't come out and said someting stunningly stupid or embarrassing. A normal reaction to this constant stream of "What the fuck?"-inducing, ass-baffling comments would be either to 1) rebuke him 2) demand he be replaced or 3) defend him. And yet the GOP has done basiclly none of these things. Time after time, he comes out with this shit, and it goes without a word from the party. They seem to just let him hang in the wind out there each time. Which is strange. As in I'm getting creeped out that there's something cynical going on behind closed doors here.
