There is a strange synergy between the Joe Wilson incident happening and the Iraqi shoe-thrower being released from jail. That guy throws a shoe at Bush and is so revered for it that dudes are basically sending their daughters for him to fuck, and at least one person has bought him a house. Now in looking at the attention and money Joe Wilson has gotten since his shout-out, do you really not think someone from a Southern state won't put these things together and do something similar to Obama, knowing that they will be treated like a king by some people after some nominal punishment?
(and no, I don't mean shooting him. throwing a shit-kicking boot, maybe.)
