Yankees

Man, the baseball season is a long one. How long ago was it that the Yankees were 0-8 against the Sox, humiliated by Ellsbury stealing home on Pettitte, and everybody wanted to jump off the Brooklyn Bridge. Now we beat the Sox to finish the season series 9-9, win our 100th game, are AL East champs and will have home-field advantage throughout the playoffs with the best record in MLB. A long season.

Ah, Red Sux fans and their bitterness. But hey, if my team had not won a World Series in almost a century; had only half-a-dozen championships overall; AND were the only team in MLB history to lose a World Series after being a strike away from winning it; I'd be a hater, too.
