Iowa congressman Steve King is taking shit from New Orleans newspapers for the fact that he seems to think his proudest moment in office came when he voted to NOT send $52B to in aid for Hurricane Katrina.
Meanwhile, I notice that King took office in 2003, a year in which Iowa got $23B in federal funds for terrorism protection. I'm assuming they've gotten more money since then. Since King isn't that crazy about wasting money on catastrophes that have actually happened, I wonder how hard he's been fighting to send all that terrorism protection money back to Washington? Hard, very hard, extremely hard? Hmm. I wonder.
