I just got an email from a buddy who’s visiting Charlottesville, and it coinciding with the official opening of the college hoops season is getting me misty of “When UVa Basketball Mattered;” aka “The Dark Ages.”Also, I think this will be the subject of my first rap hit. I ain’t written it yet, but I’m sure that one of the verses will end with “..and even Olden Polynice.”
