Stangers

One thing I find amusing about the whole MacKenzie Phillips going public thing is people being horrified that she would tell complete strangers (via Oprah) her story. Which is laughable, since if you’re gonna capitalize on something like that complete strangers are exactly the right people to tell. For instance, 3000 people read this blog last month. Of that 3000, there are maybe 5 people who’s feelings I hafta take into account when deciding whether or not to tell a story. The other 2995 I’m purely trying to entertain, and there is no line I wouldn’t cross if I thought it would get a laugh if I didn't hafta consider the other 5.
