"I knew that the option was there."That's pretty awesome for Palin. Cause if there's one thing we know, it's that people like Sarah Palin don't want that option to exist for women across the country. UNLESS, of course, it's for Sarah Palin. THEN there's an option, and it's certainly an understandable one to take. Yet another example of how Republicans couldn't give two shits about anybody's problem unless it's their own problem; THEN they're understanding, all of a sudden. Only THEN do they feel any empathy. And do you think for one second if she had aborted the kid either conservatives or Palin herself would be demonizing her the way they would, say, some random woman in New York City? Of course not, it would be a blizzard of "it was God's way, God had a different plan for Trig..." etc etc etc. It's really incredible.

Abortion Hypocrisy
One great thing about the Palin interviews has been everybody coozing themselves over her "understanding" why women would feel forced to have abortion, since apparently it was considered briefly upon learning her last kid was gonna be born retarded. Including her interview with Barbara Walters, when she actually says:
