More Savings + Healthy People is Bad

Since they know it lends them more credibility than simply saying "because the President's black," or "I'm an idiot who parrots Sean Hannity," Tea Baggers et al like to furrow their brows and claim to be "concerned" with how healthcare reform will affect things like the deficit, even though they don't really understand what they're saying. All this of course despite the fact that since the "debate" began, not a single report has come out with any numbers showing that we WON'T save money by reforming healthcare. And now there's a new report showing that we would save even MORE money with even this by-now watered-down version.

I would think that such dramatic deficit reduction that the right claims to be so "concerned" about along with the added bonus that more people will have access to healthcare would lead people to, at worst, be somewhat indifferent to the passage of such a bill. And yet there are groups of people waving signs around, losing their minds and claiming that such a thing will send America to 7-th nation status while bankrupting their children's futures. Curious.

Here's a different take that might snap you out of your delusion about the Democrats (they're no different than the Republicans):

well, the post wasn't about whichever party legislates better, but why something like healthcare is such a lightning-rod despite appearing to deliver the very thing it's opponents are pretending to be furious about (fiscal responsibility.)

i know it's probably pretty hard for you, but please try to actually read the words that make up a post before making yourself look like a complete idiot in the comments. thanks for reading!

Hey, asshole, the post was about the government saving money, wasn't it (you even use a different color typeface to emphasize this point, didn't you, dipshit)? If the Democrats are financial geniuses concerned about saving "even MORE money," how do you explain the bailout for all their buddies at Citigroup?

1) i didnt say the Democrats are concerned with saving money. but the Tea Baggers do claim to be concerned with saving money. and here's yet another report saying reform WILL save money. and yet Tea Baggers at all are somehow against it. what are you not understanding here? would you like me to send over a 4 year-old child to explain it to you in a way you might understand? maybe with some coloring books/stickers? rainbow unicorns?

2) the different color typeface is because it's a link (sorry, thats grown-up, fancy talk for "take you to so you can see") to the report I referenced. Which, I would now assume, you didnt bother to read. which is understandable, since Im sure your head was hurting after coming up with the "please note how stupid I am, everybody!" comments you posted.

i hope i typed all of this slowly enough for you keep up with me?

thanks for reading!

X, why do you waste your time with this? Don't you know that this administration could cure cancer and the deluded, brainwashed, teabaggers would complain about a Stalinist plan to oust oncologists from American society?

Dude, it's not worth the grief.
