I've blasted him somewhere on Xmastime before for the irony that as funny as he actually is, he's insufferable whenever he's doing his "manic funny" schtick. And yet in serious roles, he can be an amazing actor (Good Will Hunting, One Hour Photo, Good Morning Vietnam, Dead Poets Society, etc)
But I'm watching him on Charlie Rose for the second time in three days, and he's absolutely killing me. Dying.

Your argument would have a little more weight if any of the movies you named were good. Just a head's up.

What a ridiculous baby man!
It's become practically de rigueur to make fun of Williams', as you call it, manic funny schtick but he's still got it: I saw his recent HBO special, and just to witness a sober man mange to be that quick on his feet while being as funny as he is...wow.
Btw, he was quite awesome in One Hour Photo.
