TV Idea

Today I saw part of one of those Sopranos episodes with a coupla flashbacks wherein Tony is a fat-ass kid watching the brutality of his father, set back in the 1960's. I must say, I'm pretty shocked they haven't come up with the idea to make a Godfather II-mirroring television series, set back in those times of Tony's father. We see a younger Junior/Paulie Walnuts/Chris's pop/Tony's ma et al, all revealing the backstory that would eventually become Tony's life. Would be fucking huge, no? Surely I am not the first person to think of this.

BONUS: Capitalize on that 1960's Mad Men decor vibe everybody's loving on.
