Hmm. INteresting. Curious, Even.

Earlier today it was announced that some insurance companies would be raising premiums by 15% for individual insurance policies. To use some math from Sully, "To give you a sense of what we are talking about if these rates go into effect, a family of four in Maine (which is a relatively poor state) can expect to pay $1,876 a month--about $22,500 a year--for health insurance, starting in July."

One of those companies?

WellPoint.

Who's on the Board at WellPoint?

Susan Bayh.

I'm not smart enough to know what this means. But the timing does seem "odd," no?
