Greatness.

In my life I have met exactly two people that are more "musical" than me. One is my friend who is the greatest waste of talent of all time, and the other is by far the most talented person I have ever met, and probably the poster child for why brains work different. The rest of "songwriters" are, in fact, like myself, fucking hacks.

But now that I think of it, Faraway You is not only the best intro to an album of all time, but oddly incredible. Maybe the best song of all time. Slice of slice, bitches. And there is a great expanse between greatness and the rest of us.

Davie B. is absurdly talented, which is why I think the career progression has been so maddening for so many others. But, yeah, Faraway You, Point Breeze, Christian St. - one of the greatest three song batting orders of all-time.

OK Go, is proving themselves to be out of this world talented, too. You seen this shit?

I am looking at my dusty unplayed Westerberg model guitar in the corner and thinking, maybe the first one is me? Am I right? Huh? Me, right?
