Life's Mysteries

15 years is a shocking sentence for allegedly hitting someone in the head with a chair. I wonder what that was all about?

hmm...perhaps a tad harsh, but hile malintent should certainly require a harsher sentence in order to deter copycat crimes, the the penalty for such an assault should also reflect the severity of damage and suffering incurred. While the casual drunken barstool beating may appear innocuos, one might argue that a baseball bat or metal folding chair would seem to suggest aggrivated premeditation, and therefore rate a harsher penalty.

It's all fun and games until someone get's smacked in the head with a folding chair.
