As a musician, I find myself surrounded by other musicians, and an unwritten rule among unsigned bands is that we are always supporting each other; always pushing each others' music onto potential fans. One way to do this is to record a cover of one of your friend's bands, so I thought I'd start a new series here on Xmastime, which I hope fellow bloggers follow suit, in which I cover a song of a friend of mine. The only caveat is that each band I cover has to be a band I have met, am friends with, and are very close personal friends with. Hopefully we can all pass along great, underground, undiscovered music in this same way, and get all these hidden gems out where they belong: to the people.
So here's a song by a friend of mine, I'm hoping to put the word out on him, and I hope you pass it along. I've met him, he's a great guy, and he writes some great shit, so let's all get behind him and support him. Let's give him a listen, and tell some friends. Thanks.
