Yankees Triple Play Update

From my slice:
UPDATE, 5:15 p.m.: That was the Yankees first triple play since June 3, 1968.

UPDATE, 5:29 p.m.: Total of 6,632 games between Yankees triple plays. Crazy.

Interestingly enough, June 3 is also the birthday of Deniece Williams. Who had a hit with Let's Here it for the Boy. Which was in Footloose. Which featured Kevin Bacon. Who pulled off a triple play himself by acting, dancing, and somehow pulling off explaining to a tiny town in the Midwest that it is their time to dance because it's their way of celebrating life the way it was in the beginning, the way it's always been, and it's the way it should be now while still making it believable that he would be even remotely interested in sniffing Lori Singer's Jordache jeans. Incredible.
