Float Away

My favorite Marah album has always been Float Away with the Friday Night Gods, which was a helluva divisive album at the time it came out - original "they played in my bathroom in 1996!!" fans went bananas re: the production/Owen Morris et al. But to me it was always their most personal album. And while the eponymous (wrong usage but fuck you) leadoff track was bombastic enough to include Bruce "The Boss" Springsteen playing guitar and singing on it, this version of the song brings home what I love about it.



Btw, here's a shot of Bruce playing my Telecaster. No big deal to me, he's just a good guy I met once. Whatevs.
