Wow.

Running in circles like little schoolgirls shrieking about a mouse in the room since the Times Square non-event, Joe Lieberman and John McCain are apparently in a race to see who can embarrass themselves with their own stupidity. It will be a pleasure to see who wins. I think in the end it will take McCain demanding that America send it's entire Treasury to a Nigerian prince or government official sending a desperate plea that he’s being cheated out of millions of dollars, and needs America's help spiriting the money out of the country (letting us make a fortune in the process!) for Lieberman to step aside and concede that McCain is, in fact, a bigger fucking worthless idiot.

And now Sully point out the incredible: Glenn Beck has become the voice of reason for these people:
"He is a citizen of the United States, so I say we uphold the laws and the Constitution on citizens. If you are a citizen, you obey the law and follow the Constitution. [Shahzad] has all the rights under the Constitution. We don't shred the Constitution when it is popular. We do the right thing," - Glenn Beck, on "Fox and Friends."
Astounding.
