A-Rod is only one home run behind Cal Ripken for career home runs by a shortstop. Is there a reason the Yankees can't slide him over for a few games so that this can happen? People will say he wouldn't wanna do that since Ripken was his hero growing up, but camon, he can't like him THAT much.
Also, with Griffey retiring A-Rod is the active home run king.
Today the kid that A-Rod hit in the head last week is starting for the first time since the incident, and behind the plate umping is the guy that blew the perfect game last night.
That umps name is Jim Joyce, as in James Joyce.
Kevin Bacon played a guy who's last name is O'Keefe in Oliver Stone's JFK.
Jackie from Roseanne was also in JFK, and I would give Khloe Kardashian's left nut to have the two Becky's wrestle in melted cheese for the right to worship my big, fat, Irish-eyes-are-smiling hogballs.
