The Boss

Earlier today I recounted this George Steinbrenner story:
Steinbrenner, after Mo Rivera threw away the 2001 World Series, went up to Brian Cashman, who had won 4 championships in 5 years and had come inches away from another, and snarled at him "You had your chance, now we're doing it my way."
It's just occurred to me that an analogy would be Brian Epstein, upon finding out that the Beatles' streak of  #1 singles at 13 in a row and almost 5 years was snapped by Engelbert Humperdink's Release Me edging out the double A-sided Strawberry Fields Forever/Penny Lane, went up to John and Paul and snarled "You had your chance, now we're doing it my way....mates!"
