I'm gonna put on my "everyone's gonna hate me for being a non-pc, misogynist asshole" hat and say that for a while now, I've had my suspicions that when the chips fall where they may, the whole Mel Gibson rants/abuse thing MIGHT be a tad overblown. Or nonexistant. Or somewhere in between.

But I will push the "everyone's gonna hate me for being a non-pc, misogynist asshole" envelope even further by saying hey, whether he did or didn't, it was almost worth it just to see this awesome picture of him with a beaver popping up every 5 minutes, wasn't it? I mean, seriously, that shit's fucking cracking me up.
