I think conservatives do pay attention to elections. What is neglected is governance.One thing I've noticed is that Democrats seem to know exactly what they want, but when it doesn't come easily they're quick to say "oh, fuck it" and give up without much of a fight. Meanwhile, to Republicans the fight is the entire point in the first place.

Ah. So the Republican reign of terror had no policy to match. No wonder Obama has co-opted so many Bush policies. For Bush, it was all in the game.
For Obama, yes, like the Democrats he makes mistakes, but they are mistakes borne from caring so damn much!
