History.

Members of previous world generations were able to pass on tales of witnessing peasants rebelling against the Second Estate in Paris in 1789, or black people in 1963 demanding they be able to enjoy an Egg McMuffin without getting lynched.

Me? I'll get to enthrall my grandkids with tales about my people bravely fighting for the Bush tax cats to continue and estate taxes to be abolished for the same percentage of people that made up the Second Estate 200 years ago, to say nothing of that most noblest of fights, the demanding that record profit-making insurance companies be granted weaker regulation. Wow. It's nice to be a witness to history. A real "I'M Spartacus!" moment, indeed.
